1. what would you say is the most adventurous food you've ever eaten?probably escargot..... i'm vegan now so even though i love trying new things there's a lot i never got to try and now no longer want to, but escargot was probably the weirdest. of all the things to eat why would you pick a snail? anyway the texture was like something a smoker had coughed up. the taste was really good but that's 100% just because they were cooked in garlic butter or sauce or whatever and i love garlic more than i love breathing air. rating: 4/10 not the worst thing i've ever eaten but i wouldn't choose it on purpose ever again
2. what's the oldest piece of art in your gallery that you're still weirdly proud of?WOW i dunno... if we're REALLY going to dig, i still feel a lil touch of pride when i think about my old PMD comic. it was called Blind and it was, Wow, Really Silly, but it was the first semi-dedicated project i ever took on, and it got through like 3 chapters and a bit. for how old i was at the time, that's more conviction than i have now! i made a lot of progress artwise and i made a lot of friends. thank you, past me. it's still on deviantart somewhere but i won't directly link it because hmmm can you say: old art, bad humour, 200 yr old fanfiction... IT WAS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FELLAS
3. do you prefer science or art museums?science!!!! art museums only ever seem to show art that's only relatable to a handful of people (and only ever seem to acknowledge fine art, pop art, and abstract haha), but science shows the world we're all living in. and most museums tend to show science in an accessible way that even dumbasses like me can understand! art museums just keep on using pretentious critic jargon i can't decipher to save my life. i only have like 5 brain cells give me a break
4. what's something you did as a kid that you don't do anymore that you wish you did?i had such good art habits!! i didn't have a smartphone and i drew on paper a lot so there was no social media or intriguing headlines to distract me. i got so much done!! i have to try real hard to achieve that level of focus now haha, everything is always jumping out at you in 2017. FOMO is a curse
5. what would you do if you found 10 bucks on the side of the road?"jesus christ that's a lot of antlers" i declare, backing away slowly
6. is there an art medium you've never touched and dont ever see yourself trying?there are like a TON i've never tried but i'll absolutely never try taxidermy. people make some impressive things with it but i just can't be working with animals like that. THIS IS A REALLY WEIRD RESPONSE BUT, i can't just say oil paints or sculpting or whatever, i'd probably try those
7. what store do you get most of your clothes from?i'm 24 and 99% of my clothes were bought by my mother excepting like 4 t-shirts i got at a Target shop while i was in america. one of them has the G1 transformers on it and i'm wearing it right now. imagine hating clothes shopping this much
8. whats something you used to have a hard time drawing but enjoy drawing now?people!!! i used to HATE drawing people so much but now i can sort of dodge the uncanny valley i used to have trouble with and it's so satisfying. so many characters from popular media are Boring Humans and i'd much rather popular shows had more furries in them but, gotta say, it's nice to be able to draw fanart of the human characters i do like!! heck yea. keep at it folks, there are plenty of tutorials for hands and torsos and faces out there
9. do you have a lucky number?not really but i always privately light up when i see the number 413. homestuck til i die binch
10. what's something that's currently not in style that you wish was?dungarees??? and polo neck sweaters for nerds. hot male models can wear them but try to wear them irl and you look like a fuckin Beatle
11. around what time do you naturally wake up?I USED TO BE SO BAD BUT NOW!! now, i can proudly declare my alarm goes off at 8:30 and i'm never up later than 10am. that's pretty responsible adult huh!! don't get used to it that's the only responsible adult thing about me
12. what's your least favorite type of candy?licorice can absolutely H*ck Off. bad, disgusting, terrible. a waste of my time and everyone else's
13. whats your least favorite social media platform out of all the ones you currently/regularly use?tumblr, but twitter is rapidly climbing up there. there are so many factors i hate about both and i think the companies are using bad practice and the users are forgetting themselves. i'm actually trying to slowly quit social media and regress to an old 2000s-style personal website era but that's gonna take time so for the moment...i am stuck where my friends are :'^)
